Michael is one of the firm's partners and co-ordinates the Bristol and London operations and splits his time between both offices.
Michael entered the patent profession immediately after graduating from the University of London in 1960, professionally qualifying in 1965.
Michael has experience of filing, prosecuting and litigating patents throughout the world, but especially in Europe. His prime technical expertise is in the fields of food technology, inorganic chemistry, mining and quarrying, petrochemicals, plastics materials and chemical engineering.
Outside of the IP world Michael's interests are cricket and rugby (these days in a non-playing capacity!), motor sports, chess and gardening.
